Description

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Warranty Repair Technician is to repair any issues that may be reported by the owner or dealer.

Responsibilities /Duties/Functions /Tasks

  • Repair gel coat application, matching new finish to existing gel coat
  • Spray gel coat, wet sand and buff
  • Spray nonskid gel coat
  • Repair stringers and bulkheads
  • Able to de-rig the electrical and hydraulic systems in the console as well as throughout the vessel
  • Ability to troubleshoot and replace basic 12-volt electrical items, such as lights, horns, switches, batteries, chargers etc.
  • Able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines
  • Able to follow directions and have attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to always keep work area and nearby area clean
  • All other duties as might be required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active and current driver’s license
  • Experience with different types of sandpaper grits
  • Experience in gel coat repair and/or auto body repair
  • Some dexterity
  • Some travel time may be required

Physical Demands

  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
  • Bending, lifting, twisting continuously throughout the day.
  • Being able to stand/walk for a possible 8 plus hour workday.
