Talent Sourcing Specialist

We are currently searching for an experienced Talent Sourcing Specialist to support our Talent Management Team. This position will support all locations and can be located in any of the following office locations: Mobile, AL, Maitland, FL, Tampa, FL, Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, GA, Rockwall, TX, Austin, TX, Brentwood, TN, Cottonwood Heights, UT, Golden, CO, Little Rock, AR, or Bentonville, AR.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sourcing Specialist or Talent Acquisition Specialist and previous LinkedIn Recruiter experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner and communicate with Talent Acquisition on available positions and the requirements of those positions
• Define and execute sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and present qualified candidates to Talent Acquisition Specialists
• Source suitable candidates through various job boards and employment sites
• Perform target searches of direct competitors for mid and senior level roles
• Draft and send out recruiting emails to potential candidates
• Make cold calls to potential leads
• Promote Volkert to candidates on various platforms
• Develop and define effective engagement strategies for pipelines of passive talent
• Build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the company’s future hiring needs
• Create requisitions and posting jobs on the ADP portal, recruitment websites and other social media resources
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter to ensure candidate records are complete and that the recruitment process is accurately tracked
• Conduct pre-screening interviews
• Attend university and various career fairs and community events
• Assist with occasional emergency hiring pushes when required for our disaster recovery services
• Assist with various talent management projects, reports, and surveys
  
  

What You Need To Have

• 2+ years of experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist or similar role
• Previous LinkedIn Recruiter experience
• Experience with various sourcing tools, job boards, employment sites, and creative Boolean searches
• Previous cold calling experience or sales experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and attract passive talent.
• Proven experience building and maintaining multiple active pipelines of talent across multiple functional areas.
• Strong knowledge of the full cycle recruitment process
• Ability to travel with overnight stays
• Work hours may very to include weekends and evenings as directed
• Must have enthusiasm and a self-starter
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to represent brand image in a professional manner
• Preference for experience sourcing for a variety of functional areas not limited to but including, Civil Engineering, Program Management, Construction Engineering & Inspection, Planning, Environmental, Marketing, and Accounting
