Activities Assistant- Part Time

At Main Street Terrace Care Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging activities and meaningful interactions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun, and caring individual to join our team as an Activity Assistant.

Job Description:

Are you someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently under the direction of our Activity Director. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and joyful environment for our residents.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday evening shift, Saturday and Sunday day shift and fill ins as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate daily activities that engage and entertain residents.
• Assist in basic documentation of activities and resident participation.
• Maintain a neat and tidy activity area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new and exciting programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all residents.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• A passion for working with people and enhancing their quality of life.
• STNA Licnese prefferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
