Description

In this role, you will oversee employee benefits programs, ensure timely and accurate payroll, and maintain compliance with labor laws and reporting requirements. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Los Gatos, CA.


Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other wellness initiatives. Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with enrollment and issue resolution.
  • Payroll Processing: Administer payroll processing through a PEO (Professional Employer Organization), ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time. This includes timecard validation and employee data entry while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Oversee compliance of employee credentialing activities including preparation and submittal of necessary reports to governmental agencies.
  • Employee Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding and management of employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
  • Employee Support: Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, providing clear and timely information to resolve issues and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to manage benefits offerings and ensure the organization receives quality services.
  • Office Management: Coordinate daily office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.


Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Experience with a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with employees at all levels.


Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $95,000 to $120,000 + equity + benefits.
