Location: Atlanta, GeorgiaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 38 per hourCella is looking to hire a Photo Retoucher with to support a client with with their product photos!Cella is seeking a meticulous and creative Photo Retoucher to join a dynamic creative team. This role involves enhancing and perfecting product images for various digital and print media, digitally manipulating photographs to meet the highest quality standards. The Photo Retoucher will play a crucial part in ensuring visual content aligns with brand guidelines and project specifications, requiring a strong understanding of web vs. print color usage, color correction, compositing, and other advanced retouching techniques.Responsibilities:

Perform high-end retouching on product and lifestyle photography, including blemish and imperfection removal.

Enhance colors, tones, and contrast to achieve desired aesthetics; adjust lighting and shadows for depth.

Ensure consistency in style and quality across all images, adhering to brand guidelines.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of seamless compositing of multiple images.

Combine and manipulate images to create composite shots, special effects, or alter appearances.

Correct color imbalances and apply color grading techniques for specific moods or styles.

Thoroughly review and proof images for errors and inconsistencies, maintaining high attention to detail.

Adhere to project deadlines and collaborate closely with the visual content specialist and creative team to understand project requirements and provide feedback.

Communicate effectively to understand expectations, address concerns, and provide explanations of retouching techniques.

Manage files by keeping them organized and saved in the proper location using correct naming conventions.

Qualifications

Proven experience: 3-5 years as a product photo retoucher with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality work (before and after examples).

Expert knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom), with a deep understanding of color correction, color theory, compositing, and image manipulation.

Exceptional attention to detail: A keen eye for aesthetics, lighting, and composition.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce or industrial photography.

Familiarity with Capture One and Helicon Focus.

Basic knowledge of photography principles and techniques.

Experience in a creative agency or in-house creative team.
