Your Potential Role
Denark has an opening for a commercial Estimator, who will prepare portions of estimates for assigned projects under the direction of the Chief Estimator.

Your Potential Role
Denark has an opening for a commercial Estimator, who will prepare portions of estimates for assigned projects under the direction of the Chief Estimator.
Essential Duties
- Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures.
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Provide complete quantity takeoffs, manpower analysis, and equipment requirements as required to support estimating input on complex projects.
- Insure all working documents and data are maintained to substantiate estimates.
- Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
- Interface, under the supervision of the Chief Estimator, with owner, architects and engineers, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
Your Education, Credentials & Skill Set
- Four-year engineering degree or 4 year construction-related degree, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Minimum of two years estimating experience on similar facility construction.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control, plus ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems is essential.
- Experience with Excel (advanced), Procore, Trackware, and OnScreen Takeoff.
