Carex is partnering with a manufacturing/packaging industry partner to hire a Cybersecurity Specialist for an in-person role based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

What You’ll Do
- Participate in the creation and refinement of enterprise cybersecurity architecture and standards
- Conduct cybersecurity baseline assessments and enterprise risk assessments
- Offer expert consultation on cybersecurity best practices
- Investigate real or suspected cybersecurity threats and maintain the risk register
- Perform forensic investigations and support incident response efforts
- Guide cybersecurity awareness campaigns and develop associated training materials
- Conduct ongoing compliance assessments and manage intrusion prevention systems
- Configure antivirus and malware protocols; analyze ATD alerts and refine detection rules
- Define VPN and remote access guidelines; maintain web content filter rule sets
- Lead vulnerability scanning and penetration testing efforts; develop mitigation strategies
- Provide technical advice and training to internal teams
- Remain informed on evolving network security technologies, methods, and standards
- 3–5 years of experience in a large enterprise system
- Deep knowledge of security architecture, standards, and technologies (e.g., antivirus, IPS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with email, web, and cloud security; identity and access management
- Experience with encryption, PKI, tokenization, and industrial control systems security
- Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modeling
- Understanding of mobile security, PCI compliance, and micro segmentation
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
