Description

We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Spiritual Care Director to support and enrich the lives of our residents and community. Reporting to the Director of Community Life, this role provides inclusive, nondenominational spiritual and emotional care tailored to each individual’s beliefs and preferences. The ideal candidate will inspire meaningful connections through worship services, grief support, and engaging spiritual activities, while also promoting our brand promise to help residents live their best lives. This position plays a key role in fostering a culture of compassion, dignity, and Successful Aging, while demonstrating strong leadership by managing volunteer and contract spiritual staff. A commitment to Person Directed Care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building a supportive, respectful community are essential.

Qualifications

  • Five years directly related experience, knowledge of senior care or medical center facilities.
  • Ordination or commissioning by one's faith group to serve as a religous leader and endorsement; or official recognition by that faith group to function as a Chaplain.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies; or certified equivalent.

Licensure/Certification

  • Ordination or commissioning by one's faith group to serve as a religious leader and endorsement; or official recognition by that faith group to function as a Chaplain.
  • Associate Certified Educator; or Certified Educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education(ACPE), Inc.

Schedule: Full-time, Sunday - Thursday as follows,

Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday - 8:00AM - 2:30PM

Monday and Wednesday, 9:00AM - 3:30PM

Compensation: $27.72 - $33.50, depending on experience.
