We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on pharmacy prior authorization maintenance activities, including prior authorization extensions, quality analysis, and miscellaneous reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, particularly using SQL and SAS. We need a proactive individual who is passionate about data, self-motivated, and able to thrive in situations of uncertainty. The candidate should be adaptable, able to quickly learn new concepts, and work collaboratively within a small team. This position is an individual contributor.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy prior authorization maintenance activities, including extensions and quality analysis
- Leverage SQL and SAS to analyze and report data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Contribute to client and member impact reporting tasks as needed
- Manage your time effectively and independently to meet deadlines
- Effectively communicate data insights to business partners in a clear and accessible manner
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in the healthcare industry, with a curiosity for exploring data, testing hypotheses, and identifying patterns to drive insights
- 2+ years of experience using SQL, with the ability to create, update, and maintain various SQL-based reports
- 1+ years of experience with SAS, including PROC steps such as PROC SQL, or equivalent education
- Experience prioritizing and organizing work effectively to meet deadlines
- Experience working collaboratively within a team, driving progress and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (comfortable with formulas, pivots, etc)
- RxClaim experience
- Experience analyzing pharmacy claims or prior authorization data
- Experience identifying issues and ideating process improvements
- Experience presenting complex data insights to senior leaders
- Proven to be meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
