Location: Multiple Head Start Centers in the Western Slope area (Travel Required)

About The Role

The Regional Office Manager plays a critical role in strengthening administrative operations across multiple Head Start locations. You’ll provide on-the-ground coverage when Office Managers are absent, mentor new team members, and reinforce best practices in compliance, safety, and office efficiency. What You’ll Do

Administrative Support & Coverage

  • Step in during Office Manager absences to maintain front desk operations, visitor reception, phone coverage, and communication.
  • Coordinate center calendars, announcements, trainings, and document organization.
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional administrative environment.

Training & Mentorship

  • Coach and train Office Managers in areas such as procurement, in-kind contributions, and CACFP documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support for onboarding and professional development.

Center Operations

  • Support accurate and timely month-end financial reporting.
  • Assist with procurement, supply management, and fiscal documentation.
  • Help enforce HR protocols and ensure proper support for substitutes or temporary staff.

Compliance & Safety

  • Conduct or support inspections (fire, safety, playground).
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation for compliance and audits.
  • Promote safe and health-conscious practices in each center.

Data & Systems

  • Enter and troubleshoot data in systems like C-FIT and SharePoint.
  • Help maintain accurate records for attendance, meals, and volunteer hours.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma or associate’s degree (or higher) in administration, business, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years in office management, ideally in a Head Start or early childhood setting.

Skills: Strong organizational, training, and communication skills. Ability to support others effectively and prioritize tasks.

Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.

Mobility: Ability to travel frequently and lift up to 50 lbs.
