Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Cancer Center Data Analyst works with stakeholders and leadership teams to gather and use data in support of Upstate Cancer Center initiatives. The analyst will contribute to data gathering, cleaning, programming and analysis of the center’s priorities, and work closely with leadership to ensure high quality and timely completion of deliverables.
Responsible for building relationships with the Upstate analytics community, supporting complex problem solving and systems wide improvement projects, building and maintaining operational dashboards, and assisting with improvement initiatives. The Analyst is responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate the most efficient data collection process.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience including experience with data analysis OR Associates Degree and four years relevant experience including experience with data analysis required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with clinical databases preferred. Familiar with Tableau or other data analytics software. Ability to perform statistical analyses and data visualization.
Work Days
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 PM
