Essential Duties & Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand for 8 hours, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee will need to be able to withstand working in temperatures that may exceed 100 degrees. The employee will need to have the ability to walk in excess of 1 mile in a day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, program, and maintain low voltage systems including:
- CCTV surveillance cameras and recording systems (IP and analog)
- Access control systems (card readers, keypads, electric strikes, maglocks)
- Fire alarm systems (pull stations, strobes, panels, detectors)
- Sprinkler monitoring and alarm integration systems
- Run, pull, terminate, and label cables according to code and specification
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repair as needed
- Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal codes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for installations and service calls
- Must be able to complete a background and drug screen
- Minimum of 6 months experience in low voltage industry
- Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices
- Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression system, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm preferred
- Able to recognize and familiar with various types of systems at a customer site is a plus
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Protection, or Special Hazards a plus
