Position Summary
Responsible for receiving, visually inspecting, and processing of C.T.S materials from repairs vendors, and purchase orders. Ensure orders are inspected in accordance with C.T.S Quality Control Manual, SOP Procedures and Industry Standards. Ensure products comply with customer quality requirements. Maintain accurate documentation retention through the use of Quantum imaging system.

Education:

- Inspect and receive incoming units sent to an outside vendor for repairs.
- Visually inspect all incoming orders, and documentation provided by customers, purchase orders,
- Ensure the acceptable quality of materials and workmanship of incoming parts.
- Ensure all parts received match purchasing’s PO requirements and Vendor Services RO requirements.
- Correctly enter all information into the Quantum database system.
- Inspect material for the correct part number, serial number, nomenclature, condition, quantity, airworthiness documentation, and source documents.
- Work with the other departments to assist in developing and providing a lean process.
- Image all incoming related documentation associated with the inspected material.
- Apply appropriate bar-code labels to packaged parts and ensure all required documentation
- Review all repair orders and ensure material is repaired in accordance with the applicable AD's and SB's, as required.
- Document all non-conformances of incoming orders.
- Maintain current knowledge of FAR’s and industry requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Education:
- High school diploma
- A&P license (Not required but is encouraged)
- Graduated or Currently enrolled in school for A & P certification.
- 1-5 years of experience in Aviation Inventory, Quality , Inspection, or related Operations experience
- Experience working in or with the aerospace and defense industry (both commercial and government)
- Strong knowledge of Quantum software is a huge plus.
- Proficient in standard business office software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Interpret and Analyze Airworthiness documents e.g. Engine Repair Manuals, AD’s, SB’s
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirementsincluding, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.
- As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator.
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- Ability to lift 25lbs
