The Nurse, with similar clinical experience, practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents care and patient history.
- Assesses learning needs, provides education, and identifies resources for patients and families.
- Meets competency expectations in leadership and nursing standards.
- Requires a BSN preferred, minimum 1 year of related experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- New hires undergo orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation.
- Certifications such as ACLS must be obtained within specified grace periods.
- Full-time position with adherence to credentialing policies and ongoing education requirements.
