- The competent nurse practices independently in a similar clinical setting, managing routine and complex care while developing long-term plans.
- Provides patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, aligning with ANA standards.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors for side effects, and documents care and patient history.
- Evaluates learning needs, educates patients and families, and identifies resources.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), 1 year of related experience (preferred), and a valid RN license (BLS required).
- Full-time, schedule TBD, with responsibilities aligned to leadership competencies and nursing standards.
