The Nurse, with experience in similar clinical settings, practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care according to ANA standards.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications, monitoring effects, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
- Delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to ensure effective management of clinical situations.
- Must meet core competencies such as self-leadership and team leadership.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), 1+ year of related experience, RN license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC.
- New hires attend orientation and complete competency validations; experienced RNs must obtain required certifications within specified grace periods.
- Work schedule varies; position is part-time.
