The Registered Nurse leads the care team in delivering holistic, resident-centered clinical care and support for daily activities, guided by servant leadership and compliance with federal, state, and JCAHO standards.
- Assesses residents regularly to determine health status and unmet needs, incorporating resident choices into care plans.
- Leads the interdisciplinary team in creating and updating comprehensive care plans, delegating tasks based on licensure and expertise.
- Supervises care delivery, participates in direct care, evaluates outcomes, and adjusts plans accordingly.
- Counsels and coaches staff on performance, ensures accurate documentation, and reports appropriately.
- Maintains current RN licensure, CPR, and IV certification, with knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
