About The Role

As our Technical Sales Representative / Sales Engineer, you'll play a vital role in driving revenue growth and establishing strong customer relationships. This hybrid role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to deliver impactful solutions and drive customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers in target industries.
  • Follow-Up: Build and nurture relationships with leads, moving them through the sales pipeline.
  • Technical Pitches: Deliver compelling presentations and demos tailored to customer needs.
  • Proposal Writing: Develop detailed, customized proposals that address customer challenges and highlight ROI.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Market Insights: Provide feedback to improve products and refine sales strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in lab automation, life sciences, or biotech
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from first outreach to closing
  • Highly organized and proactive - able to work independently and manage multiple prospects
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive)
  • Familiarity with lab workflows and common devices (plate handlers, pipettors, sealers, etc.) is a big plus
