The Psychiatric Consultation Liaison RN role involves providing professional, evidence-based nursing care to patients with mental health or substance misuse concerns on inpatient units.
- Responsibilities include coordinating interdisciplinary care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- The position requires a BSN, current Ohio RN license, CPR certification, and preferred experience in Chemical Dependency or Behavioral Health.
- The RN must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills, work effectively under stress, and maintain a non-judgmental approach.
- Additional certifications such as Chemical Dependency Counselor or Social Work are preferred.
