As a part of our continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Call Center Customer Service Representative. As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: handling inbound customer service calls, tracking product shipments, creating call logs for Warranty Technicians and addressing general customer service issues. The Call Center Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. Job Summary: Handles all inbound customer service calls including tracking shipments, initiating, and maintaining up warranty claims for payment questions issuing pickups for product, tracking core credits, create call logs for warranty technicians, and addressing general customer service issues.

Essential Job Duties:

Answer calls and respond to emails

Obtain customer information

Complete records of telephonic interactions, order and accounts

Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email

Research required information using available resources

Manage and resolve customer complaints

Provide customers with product and service information

Update existing customer information

Identify and escalate priority issues

Route calls to appropriate resource

Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.

Complete call logs

Be familiar with ATK internal Policies, values, employee manual, and ATK Quality Policy.

Be aware of his/her process/sub-processes and know related procedures.

Maintain performance indicators in acceptable levels.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and administrative duties for the Accounting and Warranty departments and tracking shipments

Be familiar with ATK’s Code of Safe Practices.

Assume other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, Two years’ experience in a call center environment or one-year certificate from college and one-year call center experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or work experience in the automotive industry
  • Familiar working with transportation companies
  • Bilingual is a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Answering incoming calls in a fast-paced high-volume customer center environment
  • Ability to follow established procedures and policies
  • Possess willingness to accept direction and perform repetitive tasks
  • Proficiency with spelling and grammar skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
  • Data entry and typing skills

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • This position requires extended periods of sitting in a cubicle setting
  • Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to details
  • Working with a computer terminal and other electronic devices
