Paradise Christian School is looking for a Preschool-Head Start VPK Teacher/Teacher Assistant.

Requirements
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related field with 18 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- Have DCF Child Care Introductory training requirements.
- Must be energetic and love working with young children.
- Speak and read English and Spanish.
- Experience in Early Childhood.
- Preferable experience in Head Start and/or Early Head Start.
- Must be able to use a computer, and have data entry skills.
- Must be able to pass FDLE level 2 background screening.
- Knowledgeable with HighScope Curriculum and Creative Curriculum.
- Knowledgeable with Teachstone CLASS tool.
- Knowledgeable with Pyramid Model.
- Educating children about fundamental concepts, such as colors, letters, numbers, and shapes.
- Encouraging social interactions between children and improving their self-esteem.
- Engaging in creative methods of learning, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling.
- Planning a comprehensive curriculum to address early childhood development needs.
- Instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom.
- Monitoring free time on the playground.
- Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Preparing for lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations.
- Communicating with parents to better understand the children's home lives and psyches.
- Writing up reports for parents on each child's developmental progress.
