And, you MUST have Proficiency in R or Python programming language.

Responsibilities

As a Research and Innovation Intern in an innovation team, your role involves conducting research and experimentation to explore new ideas, technologies, and methodologies that have the potential to drive innovation within the organization. Here are the job duties and responsibilities for a Research Intern in a innovation team:

  • Idea Generation and Brainstorming: Work with team members to identify and define research problems or innovation challenges that align with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Prototype Development: Develop prototypes, proof-of-concept implementations, or research demonstrators to showcase innovative ideas and technologies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document research methodologies, experimental procedures, and findings in technical reports, or internal documentation. Prepare presentations or reports to communicate research results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and skill development to enhance proficiency in research methodologies, and domain-specific knowledge areas.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with innovation leaders, software engineers and designers to translate research concepts into tangible artifacts.

Develop a prototype PK/PD (Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic) model and enrollment forecasting tool to demonstrate potential product integration and value.

Education

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Required Programming Skills

Proficiency in R or Python

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience with R Shiny, R Markdown, C/C++, or React.
