We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on focuses on the design, development, implementation and operations of MS Azure solutions. You will play a critical role in running and optimizing cloud applications with a strong emphasis on security, compliance, risk remediation, disaster recovery, and infrastructure development using tools like Terraform. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Azure expertise and a passion for automation, helping to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes for efficient, scalable cloud solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
- Solution new Cloud approaches to events that surface to improve the operations of Cloud Infrastructure
- Review, improve and approve architectural modifications to existing Cloud Infrastructure through formal change management processes
- Installation and configuration of application components of solutions
- Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues related to application and server performance
- Expert in Windows Server 2019, Windows Desktop, Red hat Linux and Oracle Linux operating systems
- Manage all scheduled maintenance across all servers, in support of service level agreements
- Submission of change control for all scheduled maintenance
- Security compliance according to State and Federal security policies and regulations
- Validation and support of disaster recovery plan for all server and application components of OSGS State contracts
- Designing and implementing identity management strategies for complex enterprise environments
- Proactive application monitoring and trouble resolution
- Support 24x7 production environments
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of System Administration experience across Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- 4+ years of hands-on Azure Administration experience, including real-world implementation of Azure services such as AKS, App Service, ADF, Key Vault, and Azure Policies
- 4+ years of Linux systems administration, including patching, hardening, and security best practices
- 4+ years of troubleshooting experience across network, OS, software, and hardware layers
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Terraform, and GitHub
- Proven ability to articulate and document technical solutions and past implementations clearly and in detail
- AZ-500, AZ-204, and/or AZ-305 certification
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripting
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Splunk
- Experience with proactive application monitoring and trouble resolution
- Experience creating process and procedure documentation, including operations manual for ongoing support of the environment
- Experience with report writing in support of service level agreement reporting requirements
- Healthcare and/or Financial PHI/PII Data Protection experience
- Healthcare Security and Compliance experience surrounding NIST 800-53 Security Controls
- ITSM/SaaS experience
- Open IAM experience
