About Us:
Blueview Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center providing high-quality care through Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs. We are seeking a Licensed Therapist / Counselor to provide group therapy for clients recovering from substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
Job Summary:
The Licensed Therapist / Counselor will be responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and supporting client progress in our PHP, IOP, and OP programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, and the ability to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Therapy & Counseling:
- Facilitate structured and process-oriented group therapy sessions focused on recovery, coping skills, relapse prevention, and mental health.
- Treatment Planning & Client Support:
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and participate in case reviews and treatment team meetings.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and professional licensing standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in addiction treatment.
- Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.
- Experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment in an outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, OP).
- Strong group counseling skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate clients in their recovery journey.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
