Job Summary: The Operations Manager oversees all operation functions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and ensure sense of urgency and culture of quality, safety, and adherence to company core values.
· Oversee inside sales, warehouse, shipping, receiving, delivery, kitting department and belt shop.
· Lead talent development, team building and succession planning in operational areas.
· Responsible for cycle counts and inventory accuracy for region. Handle bank and accounting inventory audits yearly.
· Work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, accounting and branches to implement programs and solve problems
· Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and assist managing truck fleet.
· Manage relationships with logistic vendors, carriers and various external business partners.
· Setup and oversee VMI and vending programs.
· Responsible for initial training in ERP system for inside sales, outside sales and warehouse personnel
· Monitor and manage open customer orders for region
· Functional responsibilities for handling Strategic account initiatives to completion directed by management.

Experience and Educational Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· 7+ years of operational experience
· 5+ years of management experience
· Experience with working in industrial supplies distribution a plus
Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for the Mobile, AL location warehouse manager and has shared responsibility for the customer service manager and belt shop.
