Job Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational sustainability of a growing service-based organization generating over $70 million in annual revenue. This executive will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Family, leading all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and capital strategy.
The CFO will drive performance through data-informed decisions, financial rigor, and long-term fiscal strategy—while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and proactive cash flow management. As a member of the executive team, the CFO will help shape the company’s strategic direction and play a central role in executing growth initiatives, M&A activity, and process transformation.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Family, contributing to long-term growth planning and performance strategy.
- Lead financial visioning and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Advise on capital allocation, debt/equity structures, and growth investment opportunities.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, budgeting, and audit.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance to support business agility.
- Build and monitor cost controls, pricing strategies, and service line profitability.
- Enhance finance systems, reporting dashboards, and automation tools for scalability.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
- Serve as executive sponsor for risk management, insurance, and legal coordination.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of senior-level financial leadership experience, preferably in the service, logistics, or industrial operations sectors
- Proven success leading financial strategy for businesses with $50M-$200M in annual revenue
- Deep understanding of GAAP, cash flow modeling, and financial controls
- Experience managing banking relationships, debt facilities, and M&A is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and ability to lead through change
