Position Summary
The Demand Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability and timely delivery of customer orders. This position is responsible for aligning demand forecasts with supply planning, managing scheduling for essential parts, and proactively identifying risks to delivery schedules. This position will work closely with sales, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and product teams to maintain optimal inventory and production flow for high-impact assemblies.
This position reports to the Sr. Director – Automation Solutions

This position will work closely with sales, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and product teams to maintain optimal inventory and production flow for high-impact assemblies.
This position reports to the Sr. Director – Automation Solutions
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for customer orders across multiple product lines
- Monitor and adjust lead time and demand forecasts for project and flow business in collaboration with product management and sales planning teams
- Coordinate closely with procurement to ensure timely delivery of long-lead and high-risk components including parts required for product development and launch readiness
- Identify supply risks and shortages early; escalate and facilitate resolution plans with appropriate teams
- Communicate regularly with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align schedules and resources
- Develop and maintain internal reporting tools to visualize demand trends and critical component status for BU and manufacturing stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling tools and processes
- This role is entirely internally focused and does not involve direct customer interaction

Required
- 2+ years’ experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Banner’s Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing groups
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement activities
- Proficiency with Excel and planning/scheduling tools such as Qlik, GAINS, etc.
