AT&T Retail Fiber Sales Advocate – Hiring Immediately – No Commission Caps!

Pay Rate: $11 per hour - $19 per hour

Fiber Hybrid Sales Advocate develops and maintains customer experience and sales objectives for designated retail store and through prospecting outside of the store to drive AT&T broadband fiber and AT&T TV sales. Sells all products and services offered by AT&T. Meets all sales objectives. Maintains strong knowledge of all products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features. Maintains knowledge of competitive offers and provides critical market feedback to the Store Leader/RSM regarding local competition and product/service needs. Handles service inquiries from customers. Provide efficient, courteous customer service and assist in all aspects of product offerings and services. Ensure an extraordinary customer experience.

Full-time Fiber Sales Advocates earn ($11 per hour base rate plus commissions). Full-Time Fiber Sales Advocates can earn $45,000/year or more in their first year when minimum sales expectations and performance goals are met or exceeded. Top full time Fiber Sales Advocates have exceeded $65,000 in a year and some have been promoted to Store Leaders within that year as a result! Commissions are based on sales goals set for a given market.

AT&T Retail Fiber Sales Advocate Duties and Responsibilities:

The tasks and duties described here include, but are not limited to, those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   • Half (1/2) of scheduled work time spent in-store; half (1/2) of scheduled time prospecting to drive AT&T broadband fiber and AT&T TV sales.
  • Stay current on the latest data/entertainment technology and devices, such as Wi-Fi, data devices, TV entertainment tools.
  • Understand customer's needs and help them discover how our products meet those needs.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
  • Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations.
  • Interact with customers and provide prompt and courteous customer service to all customers
  • Attain minimum expectations set as monthly goals on established key metrics each month at 100% or above of targets set each month.
  • Ability to work in other locations as the needs of the business dictate.
  • Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written procedures.
  • Submit all transaction journals daily.
  • Assist with inventory maintenance
  • Develop and maintain customer experience for designated retail store

  • Ability to work posted scheduled hours inclusive of work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as scheduled.


Essential Physical Functions:

  • The employee frequently is required to mobilize around the work area, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and be present continuously at workstation for extended periods of time.
  • The employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other equipment typically found in an office or call center environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to customer locations for AT&T broadband and AT&T TV Sales.
  • Valid DL and minimum personal auto insurance coverage in the state you are operating.


Essential Sensory Functions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk to customers and other employees and hear speech from customers and other employees.
  • The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to, face to face communications, over the phone communications, and chat messaging communications.
  • The employee must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, read and interpret documents and instructions, frequent identification of letters, numbers, and symbols in a technological environment.
