Position Summary: Responsible for promoting Performance Designs’ products through management of the demo program which involves interfacing with end users both on the telephone and via email.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities i. Coordinate demo promotional efforts with Tour Reps and Dealer Rep

  • Manage demo program
  • Manage demo inventory
  • Ensure that the inventory levels of each type of canopy corresponds to its current demand
  • Qualify demo customers and allocate equipment accordingly
  • Coordinate retirement or resale of demo canopies
  • Authorize the purchase of new or replacement demo equipment
  • Coordinate maintenance of demo equipment
  • Track location of equipment inside and outside the company
  • Make sure that demo equipment is returned timely
  • Coordinate distribution of demo equipment to customers
  • Promote demo program


ii. Develop and coordinate promotional campaign for customers, dealers, DZs

  • Manage budget for demo program


i. Determine demo program budget

ii. Control and allocate budget

  • Manage demo program sales


i. Determine appropriate charge to be made to demo customers

ii. Gather necessary information to process payment

iii. Coordinate with the Customer Service Department the payment process

  • Manage customer feedback


i. Gather, analyze, and distribute internally relevant information from demo customers

ii. Address comments, questions, and concerns from demo customers

  • Manage customer surveys


i. Develop new surveying tools, based on current marketing needs

ii. Apply surveying tools to demo customers

iii. Gather, analyze, and distribute internally relevant findings from the surveying tool

  • Website content management support
  • Gather, edit, and/or write news articles
  • Edit and publish various web reports
  • Provide customer support assistance as needed
  • Perform other tasks, as instructed by the Marketing Manager


Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required
  • 2 – 3 years previous customer service or marketing support experience required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Skydiving background preferred
  • Must be computer literate with experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Must be familiar with standard online social network interfaces
  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent text editing abilities, and a sound grammar foundation
  • Must possess fundamental financial knowledge, and basic principles of budget management
  • Must be able to multitask and organize work in a time-effective manner


Physical Requirements

  • Finger, hand, and arm dexterity necessary for data entry and creation of reports.
  • Visual acuity to prepare reports and to view computer terminal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for communicating with all levels of Performance Designs, Inc. staff, customers, vendors, dealers, and media.
  • Must have legible handwriting to complete required documentation.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time.
