Our products consist of New England Coffee, Luzianne Iced Tea, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Swans Down Cake Flour, and Carroll Shelby Chili (to name a few) and can be found in retail locations around the country.

Job Summary: The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for leading various innovation projects from scope definition through commercialization, identifying and aligning the team to schedules, cost estimates, project implementation plans, and risk mitigation. This person will manage projects with cross-functional teams from Marketing, Sales, Operations, New Product Development, Purchasing, Finance, and other functions as needed. This position will assist the organization in project process updates and improvements as needed.

  • Build and manage project teams to ensure maximum performance, clearly define goals, provide direction and motivation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Multi-task successfully to manage multiple projects with overlapping cross-functional teams
  • Analyze project progress and elevate any risks to scope, timelines, and costs as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on process improvements as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience: The minimum requirements below are representative of the education and experience required to perform this job successfully.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management
  • Prior formal Project Management training or PMI/PMP certification
  • Manufacturing project management experience preferred
