The Senior Director, Telecommunications reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for telecommunications services, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. This role manages client relationships, offering tailored solutions and acting as a trusted advisor. They also oversee business development efforts, stay updated on industry trends, maintain compliance with regulations, and manage financial aspects, all aimed at delivering high-quality telecommunications services and driving growth within Meriplex.

The Senior Director, Telecommunications reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for telecommunications services, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. This role manages client relationships, offering tailored solutions and acting as a trusted advisor. They also oversee business development efforts, stay updated on industry trends, maintain compliance with regulations, and manage financial aspects, all aimed at delivering high-quality telecommunications services and driving growth within Meriplex.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the telecommunications division, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead and inspire a team of professionals in various functional areas, providing mentorship and guidance to drive exceptional performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their telecommunications needs and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their telecommunications infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth within the telecommunications sector.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and telecommunications best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring that the division offers state-of-the-art telecommunications solutions.
- Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to telecommunications services.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee service excellence.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the telecommunications industry, ideally within an MSP or a similar technology-focused organization.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, including VoIP, Unified Communications, WAN/LAN, and cloud-based solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strategic thinking with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed business targets.
