TACG is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in designing, deploying, and maintaining the Vessel Incidental Discharge Act (VIDA) Data Management system (DMS) to implement, monitor, and enforce regulations for vessel incidental discharges. This will be a cloud-based, Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP) solution using Appian.
The Junior Full Stack Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions across platforms and devices.
Work Location:
There will be occasional USCG meetings in the DC Metro Area or West Virginia. The Junior Full Stack Developer may work remotely, but if there is interest in attending USCG meetings, then the Junior Full Stack Developer should reside within one hour travel time from the DC Metro Area.

- Serve as a Full Stack Developer
- Develop and maintain solutions across platforms and devices
- Develop, modify, and maintain custom web parts, master pages, and content types
- Develop and deploy workflows and customizations
- Work in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Develop SQL script
- Assist with databases as needed
- Security Clearance:
- Must have or be eligible for a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or an IT related field. Relevant experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Experience developing and maintaining solutions across platforms and devices
- Experience building custom interfaces
- Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining custom web parts, master pages, and content types
- Experience developing and deploying workflows and customizations
- Experience working in AWS or another Cloud environment
- Experience working with Federal government clients
- Experience in containerized solutions is a plus.
- Software design experience is a plus.
