Seeking a Special Needs Sitter for Fulfilling Respite Work with Multiple Families!

Are you passionate about working with children and want to make a meaningful difference? We’re hiring caring and dependable individuals forpart-timepositions on ourrespite care team! Support neurodivergent children and teens—including those with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy—while gaining experience and bringing joy to local families.

We are anapproved respite providerfor families throughoutSan Diego County, offering both ongoing weekly placements and flexible “On Call” assignments.

We Offer:

• Competitive pay:$17.50–$20.50/hr+$2/hourfor each additional child
• Regional Center Special Programs:

• Currently running commute mileage reimbursement
• Special programs are subject to change based on regional center policy

We Look For:

• Engaging, creative, and child-focused individuals who enjoyplay, arts & crafts, reading, and supporting learning through fun
• Experience with special needsin any capacity is a huge plus!
• Childcare or nanny experiencepreferred; references may come from paid or unpaid work
• Willingness to work withmultiple familiesin various home environments
• Reliable and insured transportation to travel acrossSan Diego County
• Cell phone with data to manage schedules and job info via app
• Flexible schedules- availability forpart-time or full-time shiftsbetween12:00pm–9:00pm
  
  

Example Sitter Shifts:

• 12:00pm–6:00pm
• 2:30pm–6:30pm
• 12:30pm–8:30pm
