PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of Crittenton Services’ information technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this role provides strategic leadership to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with agency goals. The IT Manager supervises a small technical team and partners with cross-departmental leaders to support seamless service delivery, business continuity, and innovation.

Description Of Duties
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the agency’s operational and growth objectives.
- Forecast technology requirements and recommend cost-effective upgrades or replacements.
- Standardize device configurations and documentation (e.g., Method of Procedure documents) to reduce downtime and improve user experience.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of network and server infrastructure.
- Manage and support IT staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Track and report IT KPIs to improve system performance, support response times, and project outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day help desk operations and provide technical assistance when volume or urgency requires.
- Coordinate and prioritize technical workload across team members.
- Lead IT projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage service agreements for hardware, software, and IT support contracts.
- Review and approve technology purchases within agency budget guidelines.
- Establish and maintain data security protocols, backup systems, and recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and IT-related audit requirements.
- Lead risk mitigation efforts, including incident response protocols.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and operational departments to understand user needs and challenges.
- Provide technical reporting, recommendations, and status updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure clear documentation of IT policies, procedures, and user guides.
- All other duties as assigned.
$70,000-$90,000 per year
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (required); advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive hands-on experience in IT operations, including team leadership and infrastructure project implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, and virtual/cloud environments.
- Experience in IT security protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience managing vendors, technology contracts, and service level agreements.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services settings preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, server and network management tools.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and cloud collaboration tools.
- Ability to develop and report on IT performance metrics and dashboards.
- Ability to navigate various facility environments, including office settings, residential areas, and food service operations.
- Capacity to conduct site inspections and assess operational needs across different departments.
- Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background checks.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
