You’ll be instrumental in aligning our quality systems with both regulatory requirements and our core values: integrity, trust, communication, and continuous improvement.

This leader will champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across all departments—ensuring our products meet stringent standards while helping employees thrive. You’ll be instrumental in aligning our quality systems with both regulatory requirements and our core values: integrity, trust, communication, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Culture Building:
- Define and execute a proactive quality vision rooted in collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Quality team that feels empowered and supported.
- Conceptualize and implement organization wide programs.
- Partner cross-functionally to embed quality into every stage of the product lifecycle—from supplier to customer delivery.
- Contribute to the elevation of the Kratos Operating System, through both contribution and accountability management.
- Lead audits across programs using Gemba walks, 7S Initiatives, Total Quality Framework, ISO 9001, FMEA.
- Own the quality management system (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, UL, and relevant electrical standards to maintain our certifications.
- Maintain and drive rigorous document control, audit readiness, and preventive action systems.
- Drive alignment between internal processes and external customer, industry, and regulatory expectations.
- Implement robust product inspection, testing, and validation practices tailored to medium- and low-voltage switchgear systems.
- Use root cause analysis (RCA) and structured problem-solving tools to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Evaluate, develop, and monitor supplier quality to strengthen our value chain and ensure right-first-time delivery.
- Lead resolution of customer complaints with speed, transparency, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Utilize Lean, 7S, or similar frameworks to reduce variation and improve operational efficiency (FMEA).
- Serve as the voice of quality in product development, production reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality roles within manufacturing (preferably in switchgear or industrial electrical systems), with depth in Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly. Large Scale Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of UL, IEC, and OSHA requirements.
- Proven success in leading quality systems, supplier development, and team growth in a scaling environment.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools such as SPC, APQP, CAPA, and Six Sigma exposure is a plus (ASQ, CQE/CQM a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to foster trust and teamwork at all levels.
- Strong customer orientation with experience driving customer engagements.
- Strong data driven analytical background
- Experience managing teams with over 20 individuals representing multiple functions.
- Success developing scalable systems and teams in high growth environments.
