- Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include packaging, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Inspects finished products ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected/discarded pieces.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintains a clean, safe, orderly work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

First 30 days:
- Successfully onboard and complete trial period to develop an understanding of our organization, mission, team, products and role expectations.
- Learn Carnivore Culture
- Successfully pass annual testing for blood borne pathogens and lockout/tagout.
- Complete machine operator training and other business-related applications by learning SOPs associated with your area of responsibility
- Exhibit Carnivore Culture behaviors
- Follow SOPs for your equipment or process without supervision
- Learn set-up for your area under supervision
- Perform set-ups for your area without supervision and pass annual retests
- Champion and mentor others in Carnivore Culture behaviors
- Consistently meet or exceed production goals
- Train others to do set-up for your area
- Learn SOPs for second machine or process
- Consistently meet or exceed production goals for second machine or process
- Learn how to do set-up for second machine or process under supervision
- Perform set-ups for multiple machines or processes without supervision and pass annual retests
- Train others how to do set-ups for multiple machines and processes
- Become a specialist and/or technical expert in your area of responsibility!

Physical Requirements & Skills
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, turning, stretching, reaching, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and the ability to count accurately.
- Must feel "at home" in a multi-cultural, meat-processing environment.
