Description
As a Laundry Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept properly stocked with clean linens, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. Attendants will prepare, clean, and deliver hotel linens in accordance with established standards to assure guest satisfaction. Attendants will assist in stripping and collecting dirty linens from guest rooms, as needed. Prepare and sort dirty linens for washing, remove stains from badly soiled linens. Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring correct chemicals & (amounts) are being used. Keep laundry neat & clean. Keep stock linen closet clean & tidy. Assist housekeepers in cleanliness of hotels & all other duties as assigned. Work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
THE JOB:
As a Room Attendant, you will report to the House Keeping Assistant Manager. Must have impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Able to work independently and follow directives from leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience In Laundry Is Preferred.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products desirable.
On the job training will be provided
Able to work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
