Who You Are

You are an energetic customer service professional who enjoys cash-handling and various other cash transaction tasks who also has experience leading the Cage Department.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Cage team including hiring, training, career development; planning, assigning, and reviewing work performance; preparing work schedules and approving department payroll, maintaining employee department files; addressing complaints and resolving issues from department employees.
  • Responsible for the annual Cage departmental budget and recommends the purchase of Cage related supplies, equipment, and technology.
  • Facilitates department meetings to inform staff of updates, changes and/or problematic situations through regular and ongoing communication.
  • Assists Cage Management with special investigations and/or technical reports; completes special projects as needed.
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of Cage machinery and coordinates with vendors or other MIB departments for repairs/corrections, etc.
  • Verify and/or audit IRS documents and cash variances.
  • Maintains custody of the cage inventory, including currency, coin, paper tickets, forms, documents, and records normally associated with the operation of the cage.
  • Coordinates with TGA surveillance on variances and kiosk Hand-Pays of $100 or more.
  • Create or implement Cage standards, policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure departmental compliance.
  • Institutes programs that optimize customer service.
  • Reviews and recommends business relationships with outside vendors for cash management services.
  • Investigates and takes corrective action on discrepancies discovered in the operation of the cage.
  • Ensure that cage operations are in compliance with Title 31.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • AA/AS Degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, business management or related field required (four (4) years cage management experience in addition to required experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement).
  • Eight (8) or more years gaming cage operations with progressive supervisory or management experience required.
  • Experience in developing departmental budgets, procedures, and personnel policies preferred.

Since we first opened on January 21, 1985, Muckleshoot Bingo has helped the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe launch a period of economic prosperity. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a small bingo tent located where our sister property Muckleshoot Casino now stands, into a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot entertainment space, boasting two floors with over 1,000 bingo seats and over 500 of the hottest Vegas-style slot machines, and annually employ over 200 people from across the greater Auburn area.
