Position Overview
The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating proposal development and managing contracts to support new business acquisition and ongoing customer programs. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and business development teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development
Manage and track proposals from inception through submission.
Review RFPs to identify and address customer requirements.
Draft and coordinate proposal content, including technical, pricing, and project sections.
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to gather key inputs.
Ensure compliance with formatting, content, and submission deadlines.
Contracts Management
Maintain contract and purchase order tracking systems.
Monitor deliverables, funding, and timelines for all contracts.
Draft and review legally binding agreements aligned with customer flow-downs and regulations.
Support contract execution, compliance, modifications, and closeouts.
Interpret and communicate contract language and obligations clearly.
Qualifications
College degree preferred; minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required.
Experience with proposal development, federal contracting, or project/program coordination strongly preferred.
