Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: assisting in the Neurological health care and patient care management with McFarland Clinic's customer service standards. Additional duties include rooming patients and family of patients, taking vitals, making referrals, prior authorizations, give injections, make patient phone calls, medication refills, and assisting physicians with procedures, updating medical record in EMR, verifying and updating medication lists, pushing wheelchairs and assisting patients.

Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support Certification for Health care providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
- 1 year clinical experience preferred.
