The Associate Brand Manager, Digital Marketing role, will drive growth and engagement for Valvoline’s DIY portfolios through strategic planning and best-in-class execution across marketing channels. This role supports both consumer and commercial segments and works cross-functionally to bring marketing strategies to life. The position reports to the North America DIY Motor Oils Brand Manager.
Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer local candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (3 days per week).

How You’ll Make An Impact
The Associate Brand Manager, Digital Marketing role, will drive growth and engagement for Valvoline’s DIY portfolios through strategic planning and best-in-class execution across marketing channels. This role supports both consumer and commercial segments and works cross-functionally to bring marketing strategies to life. The position reports to the North America DIY Motor Oils Brand Manager.

Responsibilities Include
- Developing and managing a content calendar that aligns paid media messaging with brand objectives.
- Building and executing a learning and testing roadmap with regular reporting, iteration, and optimization across audiences, creative messaging, channels, and landing pages.
- Shaping media creative development and testing strategies—including audience targeting, landing page optimization, and messaging performance—to maximize impact across digital platforms.
- Develop and own CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, and retention programs for both consumer and commercial audiences, generating actionable insights to optimize programming
- Ensure 1st party data is captured across all marketing programming, adheres to all privacy standards, and is leveraged to grow the business. Leading partnership and retailer marketing strategies that support brand equity and category growth.
- Enhancing the customer journey through website and media experiences that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion.
- Manage total marketing budget to track against annual plan, leading monthly marketing budget review process and asset trafficking to ensure flawless execution and delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years of digital marketing experience across paid and owned channels
- Experience in lifecycle marketing across growth and retention
- Strong visionary, strategic, and courageous leadership skills to manage up, down, and across the organization
- Strong analytical thinking, business mindset. Possesses the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations and action
- Ability to drive innovation, connect with consumers, and develop long-term brand equity
- A strong attention to detail with an inquisitive thirst to learn more and seek the truth
- Team-oriented with strong communication abilities and willingness to share ideas for diverse input and perspective
- Passion for Brand building
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Experience within a large, matrixed CPG organization
- Familiarity with customer databases such as Salesforce & Klaviyo
- Experience leading a high-performing team
