• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Expertise with SQL and data visualization tools.
• Ability to communicate insights through slides and narratives to a wide range of stakeholders including financial leadership and technical management teams.
• Excellent problem-framing, problem-structuring, quantitative modeling, and project management skills.

As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

In this role, you’ll be a core member of the Cloud AI and Applied AI Product Finance team supporting the growth of the Cloud AI organization.

You will be a critical part of the Cloud AI and Applied AI product finance team leading our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) workstreams. This includes helping to consolidate and communicate the financial performance of the business.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in our rhythm of business reporting including month and quarter end close, business and cost insight into financial performance for due diligence purposes.
• Standardize our financial reporting for product and finance leadership.
• Support Applied AI weekly business stats reviews.
• Execute special request projects by performing in-depth search, data-driven analysis to drive insights that will shape business decisions and financial processes.
• Develop and leverage emerging tools to improve financial analysis.
