Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial and government job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure work is performed to code and meets safety regulations.
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and follow company safety procedures.
- Assist with mentoring apprentices and supporting team development.
- Accurately document work completed and materials used.
- Valid State of Michigan Journeymen Electrician License (Required).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical field.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and OSHA standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
