As the Senior Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering our Wholesale channel operations across North America. What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and creative sales strategy that aligns with consumer preferences, growth pillars, and prevailing market trends. You will need to keep your finger on the pulse of industry dynamics to respond proactively.
  • Lead the charge in account management, including the expansion of distribution channels and the cultivation of new business relationships to guarantee seamless operational execution.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives, targets, and performance guidelines for the sales team, ensuring that high standards are met across all facets of prospecting, negotiations, and order management.
  • Drive achievement of financial targets encompassing revenue, gross margin, SG&A costs, OPI, working capital, and inventory efficiency. Your analytical skills will be vital.
  • Continuously supervise, measure, and analyze critical business metrics to advise strategies improving success and performance outcomes.
  • Guide Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for key accounts, ensuring that product assortments are compelling and that marketing activations are optimally aligned.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis and monitor emerging market trends while applying consumer insights to inform strategic business planning efforts.
  • Build, encourage, and lead a high-performance team, attracting top talent while fostering an environment of mentoring and growth for emerging leaders.
  • Strengthen both internal and external business relationships, influencing strategic direction and driving collaboration across various partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Merchandising, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and HR to ensure seamless business support and alignment.
  • Coordinate significant sales initiatives and projects that are closely aligned with the overarching business strategy while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • 12+ years of sales experience in the footwear industry, including 8+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record to scale and grow business within a matrixed organization.
  • Deep expertise in the US retail and wholesale footwear landscape, with solid understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Experience in Fashion Specialty, Trend and Sporting Goods accounts.
  • Strategic focus on achieving results, balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities to drive partnerships and growth.
  • Ability to navigate sophisticated business environments, bringing to bear analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, leading through change with resilience.
  • Passionate about problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Title: Sr. Sales Director

Salary or Pay Range: $216,000 - $226,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Explorer persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
