Position Overview

The Deployment Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery and functionality of terminal hardware and software. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance (QA) process, managing terminal inventory assets, and coordinating the procurement of packaging supplies. The Deployment Specialist serves as a subject matter expert in terminal applications and industry hardware, maintaining up-to-date knowledge to support troubleshooting, deployments, and enhancements. This role requires a detail-oriented and technically proficient individual capable of managing multiple priorities, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and delivering excellent service within defined service level agreements (SLAs).

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge in all Terminal software
  • Troubleshoot download files as applicable
  • Purchase order placement
  • Hardware debit encryption
  • FutureX device maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of current terminals, pin pads, check readers, etc.
  • Maintain Salesforce SLA for Deployment and File Build
  • Handle program add-ons {check service, debit, EBT, gift cards, WEX, etc.
  • Oversee the QC/QA process of daily deployments and file builds
  • Act as Liaison with Third Party equipment vendor
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of operations of relevant software, hardware and other related equipment
  • Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing helpdesk support

Working Conditions

  • Extensive desk-based work involving prolonged periods using a computer and sitting for extended periods.
  • Ability to left over 40lbs
  • Frequent interaction with team members, management, agents, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and collaborations.
