Position Overview: Architectural Designer

Domain by Jackson Dawson/Cityscape Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to support the creation of design development and construction drawings. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in AutoCAD, and experienced in producing commercial design drawings and understanding commercial construction methods.

• Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days per week in the Novi, MI office)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design and construction drawings in AutoCAD based on design sketches, redlines, and guidance from senior team members.
• Apply standard details and adapt prototype criteria to meet project-specific requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete assignments as directed by supervisors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial and retail design.
• Strong attention to detail, with experience in drawing coordination and quality control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Revit is preferred.
