Job Description

We are looking for a Jr. UI/UX Designer to join our team. This hybrid role requires strong capabilities in both user experience and user interface design; balancing research, wireframing, and prototyping with high-quality design execution. The ideal candidate can take initiative in understanding user needs, analyzing current workflows, identifying improvements, and delivering thoughtful, scalable designs for both web and mobile environments.

As a Jr. Designer UI/UX, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across Anyone Home and the Inhabit Residential Division. In many cases, you will be responsible for translating research insights and design improvements into user stories or detailed project outlines for development teams.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)


  • Design user-centric solutions from concept to execution using Figma and other modern design tools
  • Support user research efforts and turn insights into thoughtful, usable designs
  • Help create and expand the company’s design system and component libraries
  • Participate in user testing, design reviews, and feedback loops to iterate and improve
  • Clearly communicate design rationale across teams and contribute to a strong design culture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and UX leadership to deliver consistent, valuable solutions
  • Host presentations or create user surveys with customers during client calls


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)


  • 1-4 years of experience in UI/UX design within digital product, SaaS, or mobile environments
  • Basic understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries—using, building, and maintaining
  • Proficient in Figma and comfortable with tools like Photoshop and basic project tracking software
  • Familiar with UX workflows including research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
  • A growth mindset, willingness to learn, and initiative to take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Have an eye for clean, functional UI and can justify decisions based on user needs
  • Open to feedback and eager to grow within a collaborative team
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and iteration; adaptability
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and user advocacy
  • A portfolio showcasing your UX thinking and visual design skills


Education Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Digital Media, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
