The Business Unit (BU) Leader is empowered, responsible and accountable to lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost within a respective Business Unit. BU Leaders will lead a cross functional team by identifying, prioritizing and executing initiatives in order to meet expected business goals. BU Leaders will take overall direction from Site Leaders. BU Leaders will collaborate with department functional leaders to assure they have the right capabilities and capacities on their team to meet the expected goals.

Primary Responsibilities
- Will lead a focused factory of 300+ team members to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance with a cross functional staff. Will identify, prioritize and execute initiatives in order to meet expected business goals.
- Must identify and prioritize drivers to achieve performance metrics while driving continuous improvement in product, process and people.
- Must be effective leader for communicating, coordinating and driving cross functional initiatives.
- Champion a proactive safety culture - ensuring every team member feels responsible for identifying and addressing risks before they become issues.
- Build a culture that surfaces and solves problems daily - driving continuous improvement in people, process, and product.
- Foster two-way communication - ensuring team members are not only well-informed and engaged, but also empowered to share insights, influence decisions, and shape outcomes.
- Promote a collaborative environment where cross-functional teams align around shared goals and celebrate collective wins.
- Empower individuals to take initiative, own their work areas, and lead improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead with integrity - modeling ethical decision-making and fostering a culture of trust and accountability.

- This position reports to the Site Leader and is a key member of the site leadership team.
