Description
The Content Producer creates and manages various types of content, including written, visual, and multimedia, for digital and print media that engages the community and inspires various support for SPFC’s work. They are responsible for content planning, creation, coordination, and delivery, working with other team members to ensure quality and brand consistency. This position is a fully onsite position at SPFC’s administrative offices and reports to the Chief External Affairs Officer.

The Content Producer creates and manages various types of content, including written, visual, and multimedia, for digital and print media that engages the community and inspires various support for SPFC’s work. They are responsible for content planning, creation, coordination, and delivery, working with other team members to ensure quality and brand consistency. This position is a fully onsite position at SPFC’s administrative offices and reports to the Chief External Affairs Officer.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
- Develop content strategies that align with brand goals, including determining content types, target audiences, and distribution channels.
- Create content to inspire fundraising and keep the community informed of SPFC services through digital and print communications. Digital content will include eblast communications, social media, videos, graphic design, production of infographics, and website content. Print content will include annual reports, infographics, program marketing materials, event invites, and fundraising appeals.
- Managing content projects from concept to publication, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- Working with SPFC staff, volunteers, and major stakeholders to produce high-quality content.
- Optimizing content for SEO and other platforms to maximize engagement and reach.
- Managing content calendars, tracking performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions.
- Ensuring content is accessible to all users and adheres to copyright laws and company policies.
- Researching industry trends and audience preferences to stay informed and adapt content strategies.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Maintain documentation and records in compliance with policies and procedures.

- Adheres to agency policies and procedures and all Federal and State regulations and local ordinances.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Proficiency in graphic and web design, video creation and editing, or other relevant tools.
- Understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and how to create engaging content. Current platforms include Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with other teams.
- Ability to analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- 3-5 years' experience in content production required.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Canva.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, digital media production, content marketing or similar; or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- During events, standing and walking for prolonged periods may be required.
