Executive Assistant (Assigned to Chief Operating Officer)
TerraPower is seeking a highly experienced motivated candidate for the position of Executive Assistant to our Chief Operating Officer. This is a position of trust which will support the administrative support needs of this Executive position in addition to support for our Chief Technical officer and a Senior Advisor to the CEO. They will provide focused support on key priorities, achieve deadlines & support advancement of ongoing TerraPower activities & strategic initiatives through seamless execution of executive administrative support activities.

Executive Assistant (Assigned to Chief Operating Officer)

They will provide focused support on key priorities, achieve deadlines & support advancement of ongoing TerraPower activities & strategic initiatives through seamless execution of executive administrative support activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with TerraPower COO to ensure all administrative needs are met.
- Provide additional administrative support to a CEO Senior Advisor and TerraPower’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
- Efficiently manage calendars, including scheduling and gatekeeping to appropriately resolve scheduling conflicts as needed.
- Act as communication liaison to serve as the primary point of contact between the Executive and internal and external stakeholders. Handle correspondence, draft emails and facilitate communication as needed.
- Exercise direction and confidentiality with sensitive information to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Manage and prioritize responses to internal and external requests for the executive’s time and participation.
- Manage complex domestic and international travel and logistics arrangements, including itinerary development.
- Manage complex expense tracking and reconciliation.
- Prioritize, track, develop and edit internal and external communication including items that are confidential and sensitive in nature.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate material preparation and logistics, document proceedings and proactively track action items.
- Manage logistics and planning timelines for visitors, events and conferences.
- Act as liaison with executive staff, administrative staff and employee base.
- Create presentation materials and manage board meeting materials.
- Coordinate information management to ensure overall efficiency of information flow and storage to include tracking and storage of business contact information.
- Manage and develop relationships with external parties including business partners, the Board and general public.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed by Executive, ensuring timely completion and alignment with objectives.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field
- Requires 10+ years of Executive support work experience. Other relevant experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Confluence and other office tools.
- Highly skilled at professional communications including emails, letters, and memos.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism.
- Exceptional organization and time management skill – able to work independently, to prioritize multiple tasks to meet changing deadlines and requests, while strategically thinking ahead.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality and privacy during sensitive situations in a dynamic and often changing environment.
- Proactive management of details, able to anticipate and solve problems with strong attention to detail.
- The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, will communicate openly and will display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
